Symptom guide

Select what you are noticing to find clear information and when to see a doctor.

This is not a diagnosis. This tool cannot tell you whether you have cancer or any other condition. Most symptoms are caused by something other than cancer. It simply points you to plain-language information and helps you decide when to talk with a doctor. Only a healthcare professional can evaluate your symptoms. If symptoms are severe right now, call 911 (US) or go to the nearest emergency department.

Having chemotherapy or other cancer treatment? This tool is not for you. A temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher, or shaking chills, means call your cancer care team immediately, day or night. Do not wait to see how it goes, and do not wait for a couple of weeks. Follow the plan your own team gave you.

Which of these are you noticing?

Select any that apply. You can choose more than one.
