Privacy policy
We keep this simple: Cancer Explained is a free educational site, and we collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
Cancer Explained is a static educational website. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal or health information to read the site. Any quizzes, flashcards, and reading-mode choices happen in your browser and are not sent to us.
Analytics
If we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are helpful, we do so in a way that does not identify you personally. We do not sell data, and we do not use your information for advertising.
Health information
Please do not send us personal medical details. This site cannot give personal medical advice, and it is not a secure place to share health information.
Links to other sites
We link to the National Cancer Institute and other trusted resources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don’t control.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience seeking educational information and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
